Tonbridge Invicta Lancasters 1

Tonbridge Invicta Lancasters put up another brave fight against Chislehurst. Chislehurst did have a slight upper hand in the first half and their possession was rewarded with a goal in the first half froma break down the left hand side and a good finish by the Wanderers forward from just outside the box. Although their play wasn't as fluent as it has been recently Chislehurst did look in great danger until Tonbridge struck late in the first half. With the score at 1-1 at half time Chislehurst made 3 subs. The first 10 minutes was evenly matched until Chislhurst struck again from inside the box. A raised flag from the linesman got the home fans on edge but the goal stood and Chislhurst took a 2-1 lead. This gave the home team the confidence to press on and two more goals followed as Chislehurst ran out worthy winners in the end 4-1. Results elsewhere could help Chislehurst in their final push for the title but it is still in their hands if they win all their remaining games.
